Jackpot take-home calculator
What you would really keep after taxes. It starts with the current jackpot; change any number.
How it works
Which tax rates are used?
The top federal rate (37%) and your state's final lottery tax rate. The lottery holds back 24% federal when you claim; the rest is due at tax time. Estimate, not tax advice.
How do the yearly payments work?
Both games pay the annuity as 30 payments over 29 years, each 5% bigger than the last. We show the first and last payment after taxes.
