Best scratch-offs right now
Which scratch-offs pay back the most?
Value per $1 means: for every $1 spent on a game, about this much comes back as prizes on average. Higher is better. It is always less than $1, so every game loses money on average; the best ones just lose less.

Jackpot take-home: what would you keep?
See what a jackpot is worth after taxes, as one lump-sum payment or as 30 yearly payments.
Estimate, not tax advice. Real tax depends on your filing status, deductions, where you live (your home state can tax a ticket bought elsewhere), and local taxes like New York City's. Talk to a tax professional before you claim.

Ticket checker: did my old ticket win?
Type the numbers on your ticket. We check them against every real draw we have, newest first.

Store finder: winning stores near me
Type your ZIP code or town. We list nearby stores that sold prizes of $600 or more, from the lottery's official winners list.
Honest note: a store that sold winners isn't luckier. Every ticket's result is fixed when it's printed, and busy stores sell more winners simply because they sell more tickets.

Value per $1 means: for every $1 spent on that game, about this much comes back as prizes on average. Higher is better, but it is always less than $1.

Questions
Common questions
Where does the data come from?
Each state lottery's own published data: prizes-remaining reports, winner lists and draw results. Each state page lists its sources and when they were last updated. Lotteries update on their own schedules, so a prize can be claimed before it shows here.
Does a store that sold a winner sell more winners?
No. Every ticket's outcome is set when it's printed. Stores with lots of winners usually just sell lots of tickets. The map shows where wins happened, not where they will.
What does "value per $1" mean?
It's the estimated average amount paid back for each dollar spent, based on the prizes still unclaimed. It's always under $1. Use it to compare games, not to expect a profit.
Why is my state "coming soon"?
We only show real, official numbers. Some lotteries don't publish winner locations or full prize tables, or we haven't connected their feed yet. We'd rather show nothing than make something up.
Where do the ticket pictures come from?
Ticket pictures are the official images each state lottery publishes for its games (for Michigan, from the Michigan Lottery's own website). If a lottery hasn't published a picture for a game, we show a plain card with the game's name and price instead. We never make up a ticket.
Which states are covered?
Is Lotto Surgeon part of the lottery?
No. We're independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any state lottery or MUSL. Always confirm winning numbers and prize status with your official state lottery.
